Architect Jean-Philippe Nuel is calling the shots, bringing a touch of the wild to this superb Haussmann-style building. The result is a hotel, set to open September 12th, that offers a taste of Paris, a place dedicated to the Parisian tribes as well as travellers from around the world.
A destination in itself, the hotel offers a variety of services to appeal equally to local people and visitors from afar. In osmosis with the surroundings, the restaurant and bar are self-contained spaces opening onto the street. Upstairs, the fifty-two guest rooms and streets are modern Parisian nests where it's easy to feel at home. The old building's carriage entrance has been turned into a monumental lobby around which the hotel's various areas are organized. The hustle and bustle of the hotel's guests and visitors revolves around a central bench seat.
