Umasqu, Israeli modern wall decor brand specialized in designing and producing images as wall décor, is presenting at WantedDesign Manhattan at the Terminal Stores for the first time this May.Designer and creator Tzachi Nevo sources his inspiration for the images he creates based on quotations from different design languages. Theworld of familiar images are Nevo's playground where he can disassemble and reconstruct forms.All the masks are manufactured in Umasqu's studio in Tel-Aviv. The masks are made of layers that combine different types of wood in laser cutting, usually this is a combination of veneer fastened to the plywood and MDF that is hand painted in their color room. The process ends with a composition that includes connecting and gluing all layers. Umasqu's unique pieces are made in limited quantities and available worldwide.
