VILLA GAVRA, A MODERNIST RESIDENCE FEATURING CONCRETO, IMITATION CEMENT TILES BY LEA CERAMICHE
Built in Geel, a small Belgian town in Flanders, Villa Gavra takes up the characteristics of modernist architecture and highlights Concreto, the imitation cement tile collection by Lea Ceramiche. With open passageways between the interior and exterior, the concept of the Villa is to move seamlessly from the living spaces to the terraces. Resting on metal pillars, the Villa seems to be inspired by the lines of American houses from the 1950s, where the connection with nature was one of the essential principles of architecture. Concreto, the imitation cement slabs by Lea Ceramiche, ensure this transition and contribute to the visual impact of the whole.
