Revelations China*, an event to bring together and celebrate cultures, and give international craftspeople access to new markets.

* After 6 editions in Paris (France), Révélations is launching its event in China. Revelations China* will be held for the first time at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre, in Beijing (China), from 19 to 23 September 2024.

Revelations China* will be one of the key programmes of Beijing Design Week 2024, one of China's leading international cultural events, open to local enthusiasts, specifiers and collectors, and the first major event in China with mainland resonance to focus on contemporary craft. The first edition of Revelations China* plans to welcome 150 exhibitors over an area of 1,200 m2.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the City of Beijing. Its strategic positioning aims to create a time and space for economic development to promote artistic creation and related industries throughout the country.

From France to China

While exploring the rich history of traditional Chinese crafts, Revelations China* intends to pursue its vision of craftsmanship and creativity, in the spirit of the Paris event.

Since its inception in 2013 in Paris, the Révélations biennial has celebrated the creative force and vitality of fine crafts, promoting interaction between creators. While Révélations confirmed Paris's central place in the fine crafts landscape, Revelations China* will position Beijing as the driving force behind the contemporary decorative arts and design market in China and Asia.

The Chinese biennial, alternating with the Parisian edition, will be a genuine forum for economic exchanges and meetings between collectors, lovers of exceptional objects, artistic directors, architects, interior designers, gallery owners, foundations, art dealers and institutions.
