In the 1990s, during the fabric boom in Provence, a young couple with a passion for interior decoration decided to take the plunge and created Sud Etoffe, their own brand dedicated to household linen.
One thing led to another, the collections evolved and, at the request of certain customers, wholesale sales began, and a few years later accounted for 90% of the brand's business.
In 2012, Sud Etoffe decided to take part in the Maison&Objet show, and it was at this event that its creations became known to the trade. Sud Etoffe currently manufactures a large proportion of its products in India, Turkey and Portugal, and offers a range of tablecloths made exclusively in France.
