FOCUS ON AN ART DECO BATHROOM PROJECT Horus, specialist in luxury fittings made in France, presents a project within the characterful gîte La Grande Maison, an ideal playground for the Zephyr and Ascott ranges.
The history of La Grande Maison
Nestled in the heart of a peaceful haven, only a few kilometers from Disneyland Paris, La Grande Maison is a bed and breakfast that welcomes couples and families throughout the year.
La Grande Maison was originally a mansion built in 1940 by the Muller family, whose father had built this bourgeois residence.
The new owners, Karen and Thibaud, bought the house, renovated it and transformed it to offer 4 luxury suites with a service worthy of the greatest hotels.
Throughout their stay, guests enjoy the kindness and warm welcome of the couple, who are thus realizing their dream by carrying out a common project. Surrounded by a park of more than 3,600 m², the gite is a haven of relaxation in a green bubble, which can also host events, weddings or baptisms. The French garden and the private swimming pool make it the ideal place to spend a weekend with your family or as a couple.

Art Deco bathrooms in black, green and white
When it came to decorating, Karen wanted to keep the art deco spirit of the house in order to infuse a style that was both chic and historic into this beautiful home. At first, Karen recovered the furniture of the former owners in order to keep an authentic and family style. Then for the purchase of the furniture and accessories, Karen took care to choose a decoration which confers to the place a feeling of comfort and intimate bubble. Wishing to have a modern spirit while keeping the art deco style, she naturally chose the Zephyr and Ascott ranges from Horus for the bathrooms. By combining it with green marble tiles, Karen was able to capture the DNA of the Zephyr range to sublimate her 4 bathrooms with elegant, chic finishes and a touch of vintage spirit.
Regularly recommended in hotels and luxury residences, the French faucet company Horus signs here a unique project highlighting its products and its elegant design.
The hosts of La Grande Maison
Karen and Thibaud take pleasure in welcoming their guests all year round for a unique getaway that makes you want to come back again and again! And the couple takes great care to provide an experience worthy of the greatest hotels while enjoying the human and relational side that their guest rooms offer.
