Franck Genser

Fascinated by the spirit of objects and their influence on the individual, Franck Genser founded his design studio in Paris in 2015. There, he gathers a multidisciplinary team of engineers and craftsmen. He creates his furniture pieces by drawing inspiration from his imagination, exploring the realms of perception, and blending art, emotion, and functionality.

Trained as an engineer, Genser is a passionate entrepreneur and a Gestalt-therapy certified expert. This therapeutic approach is focused on the constant interaction between human beings and their environments.

With such diverse sources of inspiration, Genser's design responds to a holistic posture, mixing different approaches, denying any boundary to what the mind can explore. Standing as the cornerstone of his reflection is the permanent tension between us, as humans, and the world around us. The shape of the object tends to become its function. A free-spirited character, Franck Genser is not one to shy away from mixing unexpected techniques or know-how to put together an intriguing piece that will trigger conversations and passion.
