David Granata signe la décoration du restaurant Salama à St Tropez, un cocon marocain raffiné et décontracté

Just a stone's throw from the Place des Lices, in an exotic garden, the Salama restaurant is sheltered under the foliage, designed as an oasis of well-being for an oriental break. Formerly Villa Romana, the Salama shines with its architecture and decoration designed by Oreka Architecture, oscillating between tradition and contemporary. It is the meeting of the Maghreb and the French Riviera.

This real oriental cocoon relies on warm colours and the accumulation of pieces found in Morocco to welcome a chic and trendy clientele. Ornaments straight from Marrakech and made by local craftsmen adorn the interior and exterior of the restaurant.

Born in 1972 in Hyères, David Granata studied in Toulon where he obtained his diploma in graphic design. He then participated in the Art and Architecture movement of the time, notably at the Villa Noailles under the guidance of Jean-Pierre Blanc. At the same time, David navigates in the art world, where he paints a lot and launches himself into decoration. He had his first painting exhibition in 1998 at the Villa Noailles. His career takes a real boost with the complete artistic realization of the restaurant Salama and the beach Ocoa in St Tropez.

Between 2010 and 2015 he carried out projects between Saint-Tropez, Porquerolles and Switzerland with his first agency Artchi 3D.

In 2018, David Granata joined OREKA, a Tropezian agency where passion rhymes with balance. He reconnects with his past by bringing together art, architecture and decoration.
